Amazon to Challenge Ruling on Alleged ‘Flex’ Driver Monitoring

Amazon.com Inc. is challenging a federal court ruling in California that let delivery drivers pursue a lawsuit against the retail giant over allegations of monitoring drivers’ communications online.

Amazon filed a notice Tuesday indicating that it plans to ask the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to review the earlier ruling that found the alleged monitoring doesn’t fall within the scope of its arbitration agreement.
