No Benefits for Tennessee Lawmaker Ousted After Harassment Probe

A Tennessee lawmaker who was expelled from the state legislature following an investigation into sexual harassment allegations failed to show he is entitled to reinstated health benefits, a federal court said.

Jeremy Durham didn’t show he was denied due process in connection with the termination of his lifetime health coverage after he was involuntarily expelled from the Tennessee House of Representatives, Judge Aleta A. Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee said Wednesday.
